Fundraising Projects
Over the years Heidlersburg Fire Company has been very frugal, and as problems are recognized, most issues are addressed, as required. The facilities are in need of constant upgrades and the fire apparatus needs yearly preventative maintenance and service, with repairs and upgrades, as required. The firefighting equipment and tools are also kept up to date, maintained and repaired/replaced as required.
This is where Fundraising becomes a necessity and Volunteers are needed. Many fundraising projects have been attempted and some projects have been abandoned, due to low interest and/or low profits. Ask how you can help.
Fire Carnival
Lots and Lots of Food: Full platters, fried oysters, sandwiches, hot sausage sandwiches, lots of other sandwiches, drinks, funnel cakes, french fries, ice cream, and other foods
Entertainment: Large and small rides, bounce houses horse pulls, antique steam engine displays, antique/classic farm tractor and machinery displays, bingo, raffle tickets/drawings, car dealer displays, farm equipment dealer displays, business displays, and concert events.
Dinner Events
Feeds: Roast beef & breaded fried oyster, shrimp feeds, & family style dinners.
Food Truck Services
Concessions: Apple Blossom Festival, Apple Harvest Festival, Wine Festival, and Special Event Service Bookings
Bingo Events
Monthly Bingos with special games and chance tickets with food for purchase.
Special Fundraising Bingos with special games and chance tickets with food for purchase.
Special Events Hosting
Special Events & Hall Rentals: Served banquets, wedding receptions, birthday parties, awards banquets, etc
